Furniture Warehouse sells furniture online across New Zealand, direct from the warehouse and without a showroom. The range covers bedroom (platform bed frames, nightstand sets, wooden vanities, bunk bedside shelves), living room (convertible sectional couches, futon sofa beds, lift-top coffee tables, room dividers), home office and kitchen (five-tier corner bookshelves) and patio and garden (outdoor wicker bistro sets). Everything is new: buying direct cuts the price, not the quality, and nothing here is used, refurbished or seconds.

Choosing between them: every product page publishes the dimensions and materials the supplier gives us, in centimetres, and the room categories a piece belongs to. Measure the space and the route into it before ordering. Where a supplier does not publish a specification, the product page says so and invites the question rather than borrowing a figure from a similar item.

Where a supplier publishes no specification, such as a material or a service life, the product page states that plainly rather than estimating a figure.

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and no tax is added at checkout. Delivery is New Zealand wide, free on orders over NZD 100 and otherwise a flat NZD 25, in 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time, with no minimum order. Express Shipping is NZD 25 on any order.

Returns: this shop's own change-of-mind window is 15 days from purchase on an unused item in its original packaging, with the return postage paid by the customer and a NZD 39 per order packing and handling fee not refunded. New Zealand has no statutory cooling-off period for an ordinary online purchase, so that window is the shop's own policy rather than a legal right, and it is stated as one. Separately, the consumer guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (Schedule 2 to the Fair Trading Act 1986) apply to everything sold here, cannot be excluded, and cover goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose at our cost including return postage. Nothing in the range is made to a customer's specification.
